Craig Allen is the President of the U.S.-China Business Council, a Washington-based organization representing American companies that engage with China. He brings over three decades of experience from the various senior positions he has held within the U.S. Department of Commerce, including as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Asia. He also served as U.S. Ambassador to Brunei. His career has centered on strengthening economic ties between the U.S. and key markets in Asia, particularly China, where he has worked on issues related to market access, regulatory affairs, and investment.
